Samson

Head Chef & Founder

In 1968, after the war, in a small village called Batim in Goa, my grandmother had a dream of creating a cosy coffee bar that would bring people together to celebrate their cultural heritage. Over the years, the Vas family gathered the community to enjoy authentic Goan and Portuguese cuisine. The café was lovingly run by subsequent generations, preserving its rich traditions.

Today, I, Samson, carry on the legacy here in Leicester at Heritage Coffee Shop, and I warmly welcome you to enjoy freshly prepared coffee and food in a nostalgic atmosphere. Our menu blends Goan and British favourites, offering a varied proposition to delight your taste buds. Tradition and favour come together, and every visit is part of our continuing story. Thank you for joining us and being part of our journey!
